The Living Rainbow – the Rainbow Lorikeet. When I first emigrated in 1983 I simply couldn’t believe that these exotic multi coloured living rainbows were real. I love the birds I’d grown up with in Wales, but to see flashes of colour invading a tree and filling it with brilliance was breathtaking. This is the first time I’ve ever drawn a bird, and once again I was inspired by a specific art show. The feathers were such hard work, drawing over them again and again and again, convinced the colours weren’t right. I then decided to give every single leaf a different pattern, at one point I really questioned why I’d made such a time consuming decision! - Folded Greetings cards 15 x 15 cms, printed on smooth 300gsm card with blank interior, supplied with white envelope and packed individually in sealed cellophane bags. $7.50 each
- 23 x 23 cms prints - printed on smooth 300gsm card, carefully packaged with protective backing board, sealed in cellophane, and posted in a sturdy cardboard mailer. $45 each
- 50 x 50 cms prints - printed on smooth Satin 210gsm - carefully packaged, rolled, sealed and shipped in a protective Cardboard Tube. $200 each
- 90 x 60 cms prints - printed on smooth Satin 210gsm - carefully packaged, rolled, sealed and shipped in a protective Cardboard Tube. $480 each
